fa وضعیت سلامت دهان و دندان زنان باردار شهرستان گنبد کاووس نظام سلامت Health System گزارش كوتاه Short Communication <p dir="RTL" style="font-style:normal;"><span style="font-size:11px;">زمینه و هدف : بیماری‌های لثه و پوسیدگی دندان از بیماری‌های شایع جوامع با فرهنگ‌های متفاوت به‌ویژه در گروه‌های خاص مانند زنان بارداراست. این مطالعه به منظور ارزیابی وضعیت سلامت دهان و دندان زنان باردار شهرستان گنبد کاووس در استان گلستان انجام شد.</span></p> <p dir="RTL" style="font-style:normal;"><span style="font-size:11px;">روش بررسی : این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی مقطعی روی 400 زن باردار 40-20 ساله در شهرستان گنبد کاووس طی سال‌های 1389 لغایت 1390 انجام شد. اطلاعات دموگرافیک و معاینات دهان و دندان در چک لیستی ثبت شد. داده‌ها توسط شاخص تعداد دندان‌های پوسیده، از دست رفته یا کشیده و ترمیم شده <span dir="LTR">(Deacy Missing Filling Teeth: DMFT)</span> و شاخص بهداشت دهان <span dir="LTR">(Oral Hygiene Index- Simplified: OHI-S)</span> ارزیابی گردید.</span></p> <p dir="RTL" style="font-style:normal;"><span style="font-size:11px;">یافته‌ها : میانگین شاخص <span dir="LTR">DMFT</span> در سطح بالایی (<span dir="LTR">3.29</span><span dir="LTR">&plusmn;</span><span dir="LTR">6.21</span>) قرار داشت. بین محل تولد و محل سکونت زنان باردار با شاخص <span dir="LTR">DMFT</span> اختلاف آماری معنی‌داری وجود داشت (<span dir="LTR">P<0.05</span>). میانگین شاخص بهداشت دهان زنان باردار در سطح متوسط (<span dir="LTR">0.88</span><span dir="LTR">&plusmn;</span><span dir="LTR">1.36</span>) ارزیابی شد. بین محل سکونت زنان باردار و میزان تحصیلات آنها با شاخص بهداشت دهان اختلاف آماری معنی‌داری یافت شد (<span dir="LTR">P<0.05</span>). بیشترین عامل بالا رفتن شاخص <span dir="LTR">DMFT</span> ، میانگین بالای دندان‌های پوسیده در بین زنان باردار بود. از نظر نحوه و زمان رعایت بهداشت دهان و دندان، بیشترین پاسخ صحیح ارایه شده مربوط به روش تمیز کردن دندان‌ها (مسواک و خمیر دندان) و کمترین پاسخ درست مربوط به مدت زمان تمیز کردن دهان و دندان (3 الی 5 دقیقه) بود.</span></p> <p dir="RTL" style="font-style:normal;"><span style="font-size:11px;">نتیجه‌گیری : شاخص <span dir="LTR">DMFT</span> در زنان باردار شهرستان گنبد کاووس از سطح بالایی برخوردار بود.</span></p> <p><strong>Background and Objective: </strong>Gum diseases and dental caries are the most prevalent diseases in societies with different cultures particularly among pregnant women. This study was done to evaluate the oral health status of pregnant women in Gonbad Kavous, northern Iran.</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong>This descriptive - analytical study was conducted on 400 pregnant women aged 20 to 40 years old in Gonbad Kavous, northern Iran during 2010-11. Demographic and oral examination information was recorded in a chick list. The obtained data were evaluated by DMFT index (Decay, Missing, and Filling Teeth) and OHI-S index (Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified).</p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>The average of DMFT index was 3.29&plusmn;6.21. There was a significant difference between the place of birth and place of residence of pregnant women with DMFT index (P<0.05). The average of OHI-S index in pregnant women was moderate (0.88&plusmn;1.36). There was a significant difference between the location of residence and the level of education of pregnant women with OHI-S index (P<0.05). The most important factor to increase DMFT index was the high average of decayed teeth among pregnant women.
